Founded in Michigan in 1951, Youth For Understanding (YFU) International Exchange is a private, non profit, educational organization dedicated to international understanding and world peace through exchange programs for high school and college students. YFU carries out one of the world's oldest and largest international youth exchange programs.
YFU is based in 40 countries and has arranged for more than 175.000 students to live with families overseas.
YFU complies with the standards set forth in the IET's Standards for International Travel Programs
YFU France was registered in 1966 as a non-profit organization under the 1901 law. It is a member of YFU international and EEE ( European Educational Exchange )
