About L'Office
L’Office is an association made up of 36 organisations committed to offering language programmes of a very high standard.
L’Office informs and advises young people and adults looking to visit France on the different possibilities and best options available to them.
A partner organization, L’Office was created in 1997 with the support of the three parent’s unions, consumer associations (CNAFAL and ALLDC) as well as other public bodies.
The member organizations of L’Office, are selected based on a number of strict criteria and sign a quality charter called a « Quality Contract », which they are bound to respect. The organizations are regularly inspected based on these strict and precise criteria..
Indeed, as an expert in its field, L’Office has participated in the elaboration of European norms for language travel and programmes.
One of L’Office’s strengths has been the creation of a mediatory commission where both parties are represented equally in the case of a dispute. The commission, whose decision is final and irrevocable, is made up of professionals, representatives of consumer associations and parent’s unions.
